That is to say, could it be a result of the mother/father being too cautious in how she/he cared for their child?
My partner has had Type 1 since he was 8 years old (he is now 24). My sister was diagnosed at 16. My partner was breastfed until he was two, my sister until she was a year and a half.
Both were fed nothing but healthy foods and were made to join some form of sport.
In short, both were raised “right”. Could this have contributed to having an over-active immune system?
I would like to know if you suffer from diabetes type 1 was it caused by gestational diabetes or genetic? Do you have a controlled diet, take insulin and exercise?
