Hi. I need to do a powerpoint for type 1 diabetes and one slide must be about Cognitive Abilities.
Any idea on what I should write?

When suffering a hypglycaemic attack … dependent on the level to which the blood sugar level falls … can affect the cognitive abilities of a type 1 diabetic. I have suffered many episodes where, prior to losing consciousness, my thought processes are greatly influenced. I go through stages where information coming into my head, either by being spoken or by my reading, loses it’s meaning. i.e. I can be reading something, but find myself reading the same line over and over and my thinking that I’d just read that bit, but not being able to ‘move forward’.
I become totally incapacitated … unable to think and act for myself.
At times, someone might be speaking to me, but whatever they’re saying makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to me. It’s usually at that stage that someone will reach for a glucagon injection, but it’s often too late. I’m well on my way to losing consciousness.
