I’d go with your five.
Santo, Blyleven, McGwire, Raines, Marvin Miller. (Not necessarily in that order.)
Rose carries special circumstances of his own making, for which the Hall refuses to consider his candidacy.
Pete Rose is the only one who should be in (He gambled as a manager not as a player) The Hall of Fame was meant to be for the best of the best of the best of all time! I think if there is much doubt about whether or not someone should be in they probably shouldn’t be.
I’m sorry but Pete Rose should not be in the hall of fame. He bet on baseball and he lied for years about it and this is including games he played in as well as managed. So, no Rose should not be in.

He’s a borderline player, but he was a great Catcher nonetheless. Better than Santo.
1. Bert Blyleven
2. Gil Hodges
3. Andre Dawson
4. Jim Rice
5. Buck O’Neal
1- Pete Rose
2- Keith Hernandez
3- Ron Santo
4- “Shoeless” Joe Jackson
5- Bert Blyleven
Good Luck!
Keith Hernandez- greatest first baseman to ever play the game. If you think Im saying it just because Im a Met fan. Im not. I was not even born in 86. My dad praises him so look him so look him up.
I almost completely agree. Just add in Joe Jackson. I don’t think being permanently ineligible should effect clearly HOF careers.
1. Pete Rose
2. Jim Rice
3. Don Mattingly
4. Andre Dawson
5. Tim Raines
Rose, McGwire, Blyleven, Lee Smith (i dont think he is in?), Terry Pendleton
I agree with all of those except Santo.
What about Steve Garvey? I can’t beleive he has never been inducted. He was one of the most reliable first basemen in the game both on the field and at the plate.
